What do you say

Mary Ann’s front door

Over the weekend one of our neighbors passed away. This was the first time someone our daughter knew has died and it was tough explaining to her that someone she knew was gone. She handled it very well – at first poking out her lip and looking sad (and saying as much – “poor Mary Ann” were her first words) but then after talking a little more and realizing it was permanent said she was happy that she wouldn’t be sick or alone any more.

We will miss you, Mary Ann Gatlin.
