Traveling and the famous

August 18th, 2006 · 2 Comments

OK so I am finally writing about my trend this year when traveling. It seems on every trip (or nearly every one) I have seen or encountered someone famous. I won’t even count anchors and reporters because that just wouldn’t be fair.

It started when I sat across from LL Cool J (and next to his trainer) and then continued with Evander Holyfield who sat a few rows ahead of me.

Then it was Kelly Ripa and kids in the Shops at Columbus Circle. Next was Richard Dreyfuss at the WeMedia event in London (where he was a speaker).
And today it was Spike Lee in the bathroom. I am not sure if everyone else has the same luck or if my trend is something to consider as dumb luck.

I am pretty sure I am forgetting someone in this list and will try to update if it comes to me. I need to note these every time as I think this trend is likely to continue.

Hmmmm. Sitting here in the Crown Room waiting for a flight today. Only one ‘famous’ sighting - Turners very own Phil Kent. The Gulfstream must be down for maintenance of something.

Well I flew up to NY last week with Rick Sanchez but I don’t really count him since I could just as well see him in the cafeteria. Now Phil Kent maybe since I wouldn’t expect to see him in the cafeteria.
