Adobe on AIR Bus Tour

So on Tuesday the AIR Bus Tour kicked off its second leg here in Atlanta at the Fox. By their own account it was the largest gathering of the tour and while I merely traveled ~2 miles for the event I met several from FL and NC that drove and flew in for the event.

AIR is pretty interesting, allowing both the Flash side and the JavaScript side to come at this and take advantage of the other. Given our large content collection I expect we can come up with a few good uses and I already have an idea that I want to play with.

I didn’t take a look at the bus but it is loaded with cool tech, including webcams and tweets that track their path (looking at their site will show you the output).

Also I had an opportunity to speak with Micah Laaker from the Yahoo Developer Network and take Andre Charland to dinner. On top of joining the other wizards on the bus Andre just finished a book, Enterprise AJAX.
