This past weekend my oldest lost her first tooth.  She was very excited and wanted to wait to put it under the pillow so that she could show and tell at school on Monday.  We complied and waited until Monday night to get it under the pillow and ready for the Tooth Fairy.  Well we forgot to go in and switch it out and thus had to come up with excuses on why nothing happened.  I think we were OK since it was a rainy night and she was up a little later than normal – she seemed to accept that the Tooth Fairy doesn’t like to get out in the rain.

So that set up last night to do it all over again — and we forgot again.  I mean we talked about it after dinner and then we both just simply forgot.  This could have been bad, but luckily we took quick action this morning and made the swap.  She was unaware and happy to have gotten a visit, albeit very early in the morning.
